luke's 9th birthday party: pokemon/game truck style.

two of luke's favorite things right now..pokemon and video games (which he has limits on haha). so, having just experienced a game truck not that long ago, he knew he would love one for his birthday party. so we went ahead and arranged one to come. and let me tell you, the kids had a blast! such a great idea and everyone gets to play at the same time. not to mention the kids are totally entertained while the adults actually get to enjoy themselves a bit.;)

i set up a little snack area for the kids right outside where the game truck was parked. we wouldn't want them to have to walk too far. haha but, i was also hoping it would bring people outside to hang out and kids to play in the yard. and it did.;)

i set out some ride ons to encourage some outside play too.
